The Tasmanian Government has abolished stamp duty on existing homes valued up to $750,000 for eligible first home buyers. This could save you up to $28,900 towards your dream home!

No stamp duty on existing properties under $750,000

This applies to purchases from February 18, 2024, so you might be eligible for a refund on your first home.

This program runs until June 30, 2026.
